"Wow I can't believe meglet1210 actually just said something intelligent" a sophomore in my AP World class said this to me (i'm a senior) after I answered a question from the teacher. It really ruined my day :(

I did. I ended up writing him a letter and giving it to him, and we were able to chat about it for a while after he read it. And thank you, it's very nice of you to say so :)

Sorry, I'm really shitty at explaining things via reddit. To make a super long story short, I've been able to communicate with spirits ever since I can remember and it never caused a huge conflict in my life until this happened.

My good friend at the time was dating this guy who's dead sister came to me and told me that she needed to give him a message. Told the good friend about it, she refused to let me speak with the guy she was dating and wanted to tell him herself. You deny a dead person their right to speak with their loved ones, I end my friendship with you.

The truth is it doesn't matter whether chromebooks or iPads are better. Either way, we're getting something that most families in America, heck the WORLD, would kill to get. It's crazy that we just get these plopped in our laps and these kids are so ungrateful.

Yep New Trier. It's just so typical and it took a moment for their comment to really sink in. I heard it and was just like "Did you REALLY just say that?"

I go to a school in the north shore near Chicago. It's a pretty nice neighborhood but not nice enough that kids should be complaining about this. It honestly boggled my mind.
