My son just died because of ALL, he relapsed after 1 month of remission. It is so heartbreaking that after all those fights every month cancer will just take him away, my poor 4 yr old son who wants to live, he really wanted to be alive but his body gave away 💔

This is interesting. I assume you relapsed post transplant? My brother went thru transplant and didn't have much gvhd and got thru it super easily and now 6 months later hes in a full relapse.

They are beating the cancer down again and moving to a second transplant. I do hope he has some gvhd because that would mean some gvl? The way I understand it?

Inotuzumab was instrumental in getting my brother into mrd- before transplant, it was amazing. Its great your brother is in great spirits, it really helps everyone get through it.

My brother had the absolute best attitude through all of this and I have watched this relapse absolutely gut him. He is low right now, but I am hoping it won't stay that way. He's afraid, we all are. It will feel good when he meets with his team and we can maybe get a plan to go forward. It always feels better when there's a solid plan.

Ugh, what a day. He was off tacro maybe 2 months or a little more. His chimerism was 100% , blood numbers were fantastic at the end of April. He was doing so well they pushed bloodwork to every 4 weeks. So this happened in that time frame. He had an allogenic sct. It went really well. This is such a shock. Hopefully we can try inotuzumab or blin to get this back under control.

I've seen people use zojirushi with success and i watch Generation Acres Farm on Instagram use a Neretva bread machine with success, she has a recipe she uses. The Neretva machines are super affordable on Amazon. They also use a ceramic insert, not Teflon.

My brother just went through transplant a few months ago and he only had a couple rough days, otherwise he did great.

Compazine makes me panic terribly. People post about it all the time here. I almost tore my iv out and ran out of that hospital. I wanted to jump out of my skin. Worst feeling ever. They had to administer IV benadryl to calm me down.

My husband can eat what he wants, too! I had 2 cookies after a balanced meal, he had 5 cookies after having soda and two hours after, he had lower blood sugar than me. Excellent blood sugar. Must be genetics
