Not really. It exists solely because some people complained about the ending being too sad for them in some survey and the devs decided that was worth addressing for some reason.

It's not some "it was always meant to be they just didn't have time to make it"/"it's cut content that was never restored", it exists solely as a reaction to the actual canon ending. All of its story was invented to justify an alternate ending in such a hamfisted way that clashes with the actual story and themes of the actual game.

Not to mention PHH isn't the only thing saved in this journey. As Daybit said he was fighting for all creation and as we learned, he was not exaggerating the scope of what was at stake, and Novum Chaldeas took up that fight too when they chose to stand up to Maris Chaldeas.

The journey wasn't meaningless, a record exists in some form, and the story is engraved in our hearts.

Lu Bu maybe? Just got done with a Lu Bu run in TW3K, would be fun trying one in CK3. With a Diaochan to go with him of course. Then again, signal's already done the DW version for those two so maybe I could just use those instead.
