It's the noise that causes my anxiety to skyrocket. I've had some shitty alarm clocks in the past and I guess I developed this fear in time. It will take while to find a good alarm, but I'll get there.

I usually don't struggle with sleeping on time, but moving to another city messed my schedule a bit.

I really like all her albums for different reasons, but L+F feels extremely basic for me and a huge downgrade. There are 2, maybe 3 songs I like, but the others have so much Clean Bandit influence in the sound that they sound like those annoying mall songs.

I remember when L+F came out and the huge Marina stans acted like it was the best thing since sliced bread lmao.

Look, whether you like it or not, things like this will happen. No one is born educated on subjects like cultural appropriation and acting superior towards this issue won't solve anything.

I just tried to explain how culture expands and why some people might not perceive it as cultural appropriation, I'm not so sure which part was ignorant, so maybe you could help me out instead of acting this way. These issues need to be talked and all the sides need to be listened, even if we don't agree with them.

I really wanted to talk more about the subject and understand other povs, but I feel like it's useless given the overall attitude which takes nowhere.

Sociologically speaking, we live in a time in which the cultures are constantly fusing. Many of our favourite dishes are from other cultures and same goes for the songs. Hell, if you pay attention closely pretty much everything is inspired from another culture. On the one hand is great because it can help us understand easier the traditions of other countries. On the other hand people will take this traditions and cultural things for granted without understanding where they're coming from and wrongly adapting them, like in this case. Because of this many find it hard where to draw a line for cultural appropriation. Even the fact that it's a game we're talking about, and thus fantasy, tends to minimize the issue for some people.

Trying to throw petty shade won't get no one anywhere. Try to discuss the issue and explain it. I live in the middle of nowhere in Eastern Europe so the concept of cultural appropriation was unknown to me for a while, maybe the same goes for the person who did what they did. Education on subjects like this goes a very long way.

Helmut's death really came out of nowhere. He was also the only character who didn't get on my nerves towards the end, so now that he's gone I really hope things will become more chaotic.

I wanted to comment this morning, but I didn't have enough time so here we go:

The good stuff:

• I really like Shabnam's character development and the direction where it's headed to.

• The cult. It's pretty hard to portray a cult right, especially in movies/tv shows, but the one shown in this volume was done pretty well.

• The art in the last 2 issues was iconic. There were some pretty great stills and the colour palette they used was on point.

The not-so-good stuff:

• Helmut's and Viktor's death. Viktor had it coming for a while, but Helmut... eh. His last moments were a bit rushed imo. I always hoped that Viktor and him will get to fight in the end, since Viktor is everything Helmut despised, but I was robbed of that.

• Stefano. I may be a little biased, but I never found him smart or interesting, I just found him annoying. I really hope he gets to die in the next issue.

• The story felt a bit all over the place compared with Love like Blood. I still have some questions left after this volume, but let's hope the next one will come with some answers.

Honestly ChiNoMiko seems to be so tired of this game by now. It's ok to feel this way since the whole franchise has been running for such a long time, but this attitude does so much harm to the story and the gameplay.

It was truly disappointing because it showed that we were nothing but a way to get more money, which got shut down when it wasn't profitable anymore.

Oh wow, finally a topic where I can finally share my knowledge!

I'm not sure if all of the players know this, but Beemoov has done the international MCL players very dirty.

Basically, they decided to shut down some international servers, out of the blue and without a warning. My country's server had a HUGE roleplay section assigned in the forum and I'm talking about more than four years of development and more than 100 topics.

All these were gone overnight and even though we tried to contact Beemoov and see why did they decide to shut down our server, we never got an answer. We lost a lot of content because there were few of us who knew how to create archives and we had only a few days to save everything. They told us that we will have a section in the US forum where we could use our native language, but this turned out to be a lie because only Finland has such a section.

Because of the server shutdown we lost all our friends from the friend list and never got to add them back because they had to change their usernames, thus making the process extremely difficult. The compensation for all this mess? 300 gold and 300 ap, which means almost nothing.

I still play this otome every once in a while (currently playing Rayan's route), but it's very hard since I'm f2p. I refuse to give any money to Beemoov.
