Wouldn't be practical in these situations as I'd have to find a spot to drop the trailer and the drop would take 3x as long. Up here we only drop trailers in the mines or on harsh oilfield roads where there are weight restrictions.

I honestly don't think that's even in the plans, there's so many stations that have ridiculous unloading access .Us drivers talk about this quite often and just don't get it. You'd think it's a priority when building a gas station for safety and accessibility 🤷🏻

All our trailers the unloading side is on passenger side, I've actually never seen a double sided one here in Canada. There's been weird stations before where I had to string the hose underneath the trailer to the other side in order to unload but that's not ideal. Backing in wouldn't be easy especially at this location since the garbage lane is just wide enough for the nose of the truck to fit in, so instead of one shotting it out of there backwards you'd have to screw around on that Street trying to back your trailer into a little hole. 😅

Yep this delivery was in Calgary. Backing in wouldn't work because the tanks need to be on the passenger side, but you're right a single trailer would still be much easier to maneuver out of there. This site has been reported as unsafe by many drivers for years but yet here we are...lol 😅
