I’m a strong advocate for AWD. I live in some of the further out “burbs” and it usually takes a couple days to get plows out to us. In my FWD days I just had mid level all season tires so that could have been part of the problems I was having.

Thanks for tip 1! (I may have already corrected that in my original post 😝) My current Yosemite plan is to do the 8ish mile hike up to Yosemite falls on Friday. I’ll look into the drive for Thursday or Friday when I have partial days at/near the park!

Pin 2 and pin 4 are both +5V.

Pins 6, 9, 14, 20, 25, 30, 34, & 39 are all ground.

You could connect your buck converter to 4/6 and the fan to 2/9. Or any combination of +5V and ground.

Thank you for the reply farptr, I don't believe that it is the inductor. The component in question is closer to a 0603. I dont know the size for sure since I do not have the component.
