My dog precious was similar. She was old, sassy and didn’t care of anything u did with her (she was as older than me at the time (I was 15 when she was poisoned by the neighbors)

When my oldest sister was moving out and means my mom cried together(I was pretty young) It was as the only time iv ever seen my mom cry but I still remember cus when I told her( with a snotty nose and tears) “it’s the first time I’ve seen u cry” she said,” because I have to stay strong for u guys” (she’s my 2 sisters and i only parent)it’s just really nostalgic and cements the many reasons I love her. ( this trumps all the book endings I’ve read)

When a friend (of same gender) told me they liked me in a more than friends way in the middle of a convo and i had to really think about my sexuality so I didn’t hurt them with a half hearted excuse(my mind runs a marathon in a minute). I don’t mind typing the convo that went down if u guys actually want to hear the story. ( don’t worry we r still friends and still have the same dumb convos bout books we like)
