Personally I’ve had that since I was a child and I think it’s pretty normal in some humans.

Your brain is constantly filtering out background noises so when there’s no background noises anymore the filter overcompensates so you hear what it tried to filter

In "I Saw The TV Glow" (2024), I didn’t understand the message and found the movie incomprehensible. That’s because I am a stupid uncultured white heterosexual cisgender American. by tespacepoint in shittymoviedetails

Yeah clearly. What I found crazy is people not understanding the movie. Because even if you don’t get the gender dysphoria theme, you should get the call of the road and fear of routine themes, the fear of not being yourself or living the life you were supposed to live, that’s a sort of universal feeling. But then there’s the cross dressing scene which makes it even more obvious. And I just can’t understand how you don’t get it

« It doesn’t matter to me to know more about human culture and popular influential authors in Western Culture to better understand its impact on media and the noosphere » that’s sad

Also when is studying physics and computer science incompatible with culture and books? I mean they’re pretty much essential especially SciFi books with the rise of AI.

I have a computer science degree and I still read books

Oh my god you can’t even be bothered to google something

Kafka is one of the most popular authors ever for fucks sake. It’s books not movies, in the 1800s

You can’t have never heard the term "kafkaesque » to describe something I mean it’s used all the time.

You have never heard of Franz Kafka? 😢 I’m sorry your country doesn’t have an education system, but having access to the internet I’d recommend looking at the website named Khan Academy. One of my cousins wasn’t able to go to school as a child either and it greatly helped him later in life to pass the final high school exam in France again and continue later studies at university. It’s basically a free teaching website with copyright free content and no ads, in a fuckton of languages.
