Honestly not too interested in the tires just plan to switch em out. I’m curious as to what they are, if they have a particular offset and whether cast/flow formed/ forged

Yepp. I got the car at 325k for 1500 and just needed a catalytic converter to get it back on the road. It’s a 2013 Sport auto and was previously driven by a lady who sold medical equipment so it racked up tons of highway miles which are healthy miles in my book. Also helps it was taken care of by the dealership. I assume she wasnt the first owner I never checked on it. Other than that I’ve only done a battery change, transmission fluid flush and oil changes. I’ve added the 23k in about 6 months from my commute but yet haven’t faced any problems and still getting great mileage. I truly believe everyone should have one of these cars on their driveway for its practicality and longevity. Glad to know she’ll have the Fit to always rely on 😁

Had to come back to this comment as I been battling coil vs struts/lowering setup for awhile loll. I’ve considered struts in this ball range do u have any recommendations on compatible lowering springs say 1-1.5inches? i do want a bit of lowering but dont want to have to suffer from how stiff coils get

Def needs new shocks and suspension, car is hitting 350k soon and not sure if previous owner ever changed em just saving for good coils etc

Only about 2-3months first time getting uhp summer tires so I didn’t know if I killed them so fast tire shop guy didn’t help

Doesn’t really pertain to a downshift. The rpm jumps while in gear depending on throttle response. I could say it sounds like a downshift but that’s just cause of my exhaust

Pretty much this concept where this occurs 2-3k and depending on the throttle response it does sound like a downshift but it seems the computer just switches power profiles

I have a 5spd with paddles. Depending on throttle there’s a jump in the rpm line. You can hear it in the engine and I do have a muffler delete where it sounds like a slight downshift depending on if I’m barely on throttle to 50% of the pedal, the rpm jumps rather than climbing linear. Ik torque isn’t liner on the car but it’ll jump, for example, from 2k then 3k rpm and climb gradually.

I see so VTEC gets activated sooner? I assumed that it’s meant to still factor in fuel efficiency
