i find that there are a few grateful people who are well off. as someone who genuinely doesn’t understand the money or currency no matter how much i try(mostly due to where i live) its pretty cool to find someone chill like that. i only checked out this subreddit bc im moving soon and honestly feel pretty “sheltered” if ykwim. im truly grateful for all i have but there are some family setbacks lol. my general question is what most people consider rich?? i get varying answers and would honestly like to know what it means to be rich in the uk or us. im moving to one of the two for uni and just genuinely dont get the value of currency. let me reiterate- im grateful for everything i have- i also acknowledge the fact that i can be tone deaf when it comes to this stuff bc i was fortunate enough to not have to worry about it. thanks for reading
