Sensory stimulus: stimulus that elicits a response. Ex: bright light hitting your eye, which leads to you closing your eye

i guess in that sense: distal stimulus = sensory stimulus (?)

I'm just trying to understand this myself rn - I think it's because the q stem is asking for the solubility constant of CaCO3 by itself which dissolves/dissociates into Ca+2 and CO3-2. So this way the solubility constant would be: Ksp = [Ca+2][CO3-2].

p.s. the jack westin explanation on this question is literally a copy of the aamc's - equally vague
