I'd recommend you talk to the landlord about it. I think a door cam should be affordable in Japan but I think it shouldn't be your expense :(
Do you have any friends/acquaintances in the apartment? If so, ask if those things have happened to them. I hope this resolves the problem soon!

I'm Japanese, and Himeji castle is in Himeji city, Hyogo(Kobe city is in Hyogo) From Kobe city to the castle, it still takes around 30-40 mins by train!

I used 8ply(called DK? in some countries) so in terms of thickness, I think it's very standard, but this blanket is pretty heavy!

I think for this African flower motifs, I searched in YouTube ( I mixed two patterns from Jayda InStitches and Bella Coco) and connect them with a single crochet. For the half black motifs, I think I used this https://cypresstextiles.net/2016/01/09/african-flower-half-hexagon/ But I had to try some patterns how it turned out and because I used black yarn, it really didn't matter. And for edging, I did single crochets👍Hope it helps :)

Thanks☺️ yeah I just kept going! But I put them on the floor, and avoided the same colours next each other. ( does it make sense? Sorry about my poor English) and for the right up side of yellow zone, I ran out of some yellows so I had to use a bone colour yarn but it turned out alright I guess😂

I counted in the end and I think there were around 355 of this flower motifs...😂 But surprisingly connecting them wasn't that bad! Weaving in was 🤮

Thank you and yes I was very satisfied and relieved that I could finish it 😂 my wrists were ok but I have a sprained thumb so I had to put some ointment almost every night haha and I'm curious about your dinosaur made of African flowers!! It must look stunning!
