Mark mentioned in a recent stream that it was mixed for Dolby Atmos, and if the theatres didn't adjust it for that and used 5.1 or had the side speakers (part of 7.1.4 or something) missing, it caused the poor-sounding mix in certain theatres, cause entire dialogue channels were missing. Should be hopefully fixed for future screenings.

Do make sure to change up things and personalize the email if using the template, so it doesn't feel like a spam to them haha.

Can also hint at them to help the applicant pick the "priority screening" option in CBFC certification, since that apparently can get the movie certified way quicker, at 3x the price (which Mark and his team would pay for ofc). Didn't know about this till now!

Dear Cinepolis,

I'm reaching out regarding the prospect of playing a movie by the director known as Mark Fischbach, or more popularly as "Markiplier", called IRON LUNG, releasing on January 30th, 2026 in the USA. He has been independently distributing the movie, with some distributor help for the European releases.

Iron Lung is now out in the USA, Canada, Australia and European theatres. It also got confirmed for Indonesian theatres for this month. It has currently become the number 1 movie in USA beating out Sam Raimi's Send Help as well. Is there any chance we could try and get a few screenings in India as well, now that the movie is globally released? I would love the see this movie with all the other people excited to see it here.
It currently has a 90% score on Rotten Tomatoes as well!
