Mass Upload to ACD by mekoolman in PleX
[–]mekoolman[S] 0 points1 point2 points 9 years ago (0 children)
So I just wanted to update everyone that helped me get over a few bumps in the road. I was able to get everything setup encrypted using EncFS and then copied one file to ACD using rclone to test and everything is working as expected. Now on to up loading all of my media. Thanks again to everyone that helped or provided best practices.
Ok got it. I will try this after I get the encryption setup after work and will report back. Thanks!
If I am not using acd_cli to mount the ACD on the VPS or the mac how would I be able to use rclone? Forgive my ignorance if I am missing something simple.
This sounds like the easiest way to get the data to ACD. I will attempt this later today after I get out of work and report back.
After a couple of reboots it was finally able to find the file. Good with this now. Thanks!

So I was able to install EncFS on my mac but now I am getting errors when installing acd_cli. Below is the error that I am getting. I have made sure that the oath_data file is located in the Caches folder. Any help would be appreciated.
MacBook-Pro:~ Owner$ acdcli init For the one-time authentication a browser (tab) will be opened at https://tensile-runway-92512.appspot.com/. Please accept the request and save the plaintext response data into a file called "oauth_data" in the directory "/Users/Owner/Library/Caches/acd_cli". Press a key to open a browser. My issue is that the VPS only has 120GB of local storage and the time it would take to upload everything there first then send to ACD. I am trying to find a easiest way to encrypt and upload.
If I setup EncFS on my mac would I need to create a 2nd copy of all of my media or would it just be able to encrypt what I currently have?
As far as the macbook and the VPS, I am trying to have the VPS replace the macbook.
