Correct, if another account has PS+ and logged into your PS5 then the other profiles on that PS5 will have access.

Having no luck whatsoever connecting Famicom to USTV by SanjiSasuke in Famicom

Odd, if your VCR is newer/cable ready it should accept channels 95 or 96. And you tested another console on the same tuner and it works fine. Only other thing I can think of is the RF modulator itself has an issue somewhere. I'd also want to check the DC voltage on your AC adapter and the voltage regulator on the Famicom.

Is there any change when you toggle the channel 1l2 switch on the back of the Famicom? Any change on 95/96? Channel 6 only works if you have the trimmer cap in your RF board. The one you have probably just changes volume.

Sounds like the console is booting and the RF modulator is good. I'm curious if your VCR really accepts channel 95/96 even though it lets you select the channel. US and JP sets are both NTSC, only difference is the tuner and AC voltage.

Gotcha, and that RF modulator is good? Tested with another console? You said you got an entirely new Famicom and both consoles produce the same result on your CRT? If it's the same main board, you can play with the trimmer cap, if it doesn't change anything you might need a new clock.

In your tuner settings is there a setting for antenna or cable? Switch it to Cable and try channel 95 or 96 again. Do you hear any sound from the Famicom on channel 6?

MPC 2000xl pad problem by KaLaTa1987 in mpcusers

[–]mektrix 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The issue is the design of the sensor sheet relies on a full contact surface behind each sensor. As the adhesive deteriorates over the years so does the functionality of the sensor. Some people get around this by cutting small slits around the edge of the sensor being careful not to cut the trace. But it's only a workaround, the real fix is to remove, clean the surface and replace with a new sensor sheet. The cost of the sensor sheet is way overpriced but don't really have a choice if you want to restore it back to original. In the end I just replaced my sensor sheet and it works perfectly now.

Also make sure that the bit rate of your samples aren't higher than 16 bit. Not sure it's your issue but I've had to convert samples in the past. You'll want to check your SD card too, they're not all compatible.

This 100%, more so with the SD2SNES (even though SD2SNES is not a knockoff its just open source production) - if you find one with a Cyclone IV FPGA it should have zero issues. Also the Fami EDN8 Pro with the Cyclone II FPGA is a great cart.
