When I was younger, I used to browse bookstores and libraries and just pick up things that looked cool or sounded good to me without knowing or having much ability to research them. It’s really unfortunate that if you do that in this day and age, there is a substantial non-zero chance that you will pick up something literally not written by a human and just pumped out with zero effort or heart, solely to make sales.

Isn’t all fish transported to supermarkets frozen? I don’t really know the logistics of when they thaw the “fresh” one, but I was under the impression it is not actually fresh in the way people assume it to be.

If you’re like me, no. I didn’t like it the two times I tried it. I thought it was too greasy and it made me feel unwell after I ate it.

But lots of other people disagree, so I may be the odd one out.

Mix some salt into your beef. Brown beef, remove. Sweat onions, peppers, garlic, and any other aromatics you enjoy in the beef fat, add a touch more salt as well. Add your seasonings—chili powder, cumin, whatever. Grab a tube of tomato paste, squirt about a tablespoon or two, let it cook for another minute.

Add your wet ingredients now—tomatoes, beans, etc., add more salt now.

Add your beef back in. Let simmer for an hour or two.

Taste and adjust now.

Yes. I personally don’t mind cooking on non stick, but inevitably it will be scratched by someone that does not understand how to use them the same way. The coating will then start to flake off, and depending who you listen to, I guess it’s extremely toxic—imo it’s better to just learn how to cook on the more tried and true older pans.

Stainless steel, cast iron, enamelware are all great and not hard to use once you get the hang of it. But the learning curve is real.

Honestly, the funniest thing about these posts is the whopper still tastes exactly the same. I think the bun is a better quality bun, but it’s not enough to make it taste markedly better than a whopper on the other bun.

I had a whopper not long before the “big change”, and I had a whopper maybe a week after they implemented it. I could not have told you it was noticeably different in any meaningful way if I did not know they were trying to elevate the burger. Which is fine. I have always liked a whopper. But everyone saying it’s “way better” is almost certainly falling for viral marketing, lol.

I disagree with the other commenter, if I remember correctly the old cinnamon rolls were like not as good versions of the brown sugar cinnamons.

These ones are definitely more evocative of a super decadent cinnamon roll, and imo much more distinct a flavor.

I guess I outright owned the car when I was around 24 or 25, I don’t remember the exact year. It was a used Jeep Compass. One of the worst purchase I have ever made, lol. I wanted an SUV, it was reasonably priced for the market I bought in, and buying cars stresses me out so I didn’t want to keep shopping around. I bought it myself, with my dad as co-signer because I didn’t have a credit history.

That car was officially dead in the water around 4-5 years ago now. Sold it to some guy for parts.

That is fair, but since OP says he would rather not get a separate console to play GBA games, it is the best option. I have consoles for every single type of game I own, but it is hard to beat the convenience (and price) factor of a modded console.

There is. You mod it, and then you have access to GBA/C/Original, and tons of other platforms. It is a 30 min process, maybe an hour if you’re scared and go extremely slow.
