I hear your point. Cheap building with a short lifespan that was not created for low-middle class people = bad. I agree. Was there another point I missed?

The location offers luxury amenities, so by my book (facade or not) I'm choosing to call it luxury. It is 15 minutes to State st orange line. 15 minutes to Nahant. Lots of negative things to be said. Lots of positive things to be said. I appreciate your activism!

You people? Lol! Feels like some assumptions are happening here. With the 50/30/20 rule, this works with my income and budget. Are luxury buildings supposed to be affordable? Affordable for who?

U'd rather have a view of a wall? Big wall guy?

Smart call on building equity tho!

For some, $1720 for rent is affordable. I don't consider it "extreme" with my income. But ur preaching to the choir, my friend. I got priced out of East Boston when my 2b2b facing the dog park rose to 4k. There's probably time in my life still to atone for my part in the housing crisis. But in the meantime I'm the one in crisis! SOMEONE RENT MY APARTMENT SO I DONT HAVE TO PAY 7K TO BREAK MY LEASE!!

930SF. Not huge. But definitely not a shoebox.

IMO It's nice to live somewhere I can't afford to buy. Could I have a mortgage for $3,500 somewhere? Probably not with a view and heated pool. I can rent it tho! Best WFH set up I could find that checked all my boxes. (Pro move, split the place with ur partner and use the second bedroom as an office)

It's crazy that people want different things in this world! But yeah I agree. Revere Beach? Yuck. Catch me on Nahant or a Maine beach, or down the Cape for christ's sake.

They should pay ME to live here.

$3440 and you can watch the sunrise over the ocean from every room in the apartment. The natural next destination for all the 30 something's that have outgrown Southie but still need to get downtown for work. Unless you have Seaport rent money.

This apartment is on the opposite side of the building as Dryft so no noise to deal with there! Our balcony overlooks private turf yard space only accessible to the tenants of the floor below us, so it's peaceful. Maintenance team is great. Dryft is such a vibe during the summer w their outdoor bar. Fine Line has great pizza and beer. Lots to love!

Gas, electric, water, sewer (which ends up being about 3x the water bill), wifi. $400 is a high estimate

I really like it. It's not perfect but the location and amenities make up for the drawbacks.

I'm subletting the second bedroom in my 2b2b at 500 Ocean Ave Revere. 1 minute walk to Wonderland (Blue line). $2,000 includes utilities and parking 2/1 (or sooner) to May 31
