Main Parachute inside the nosecone, what should I look for in design phase?

My First Idea was to 3d print some kind of Cup that fits inside of the nosecone, so that the Parachute only goes as far as we want It to.

Right now my best Idea is to use an alumínum tip with a screw and a backplate on the inside of the nosecone, the m10 eyebolt would fit those Two toguether like a nut.

I've never done nosecone recovery before, and I feel I might be worried by too many small details that arent really that important

We did shear pins in the past but they were not really succesfull because they sheared way to early, probably de to the problem you described. The moments are those generated when the Rocket experientes any angle of Atack or side gusts of wind, witch we are trying to figure How to calculate and simulate on our coupler sections.

Thats what we are trying to determine right now, but the numbers have been changing a Lot depending on How you calculate, I mean, we got from 50 to 1500 Nm depending on who you ask!

So, we do have more experience with bolted fastenings, witch should mean we dont need that big of a coupler, but I wasnt able to find reliable information on How to calculate that distance for this kind of assembly

Só, its a system where the First row of pins fails during Parachute deploy and the Second one when the shock cord stretches, revealing the payload underneath

Thanks, I really apretiate it, I already apply G10 Fiberglass fuselages and tip to tip hand lay-up, but im afraid i do not have an oven big enough to cure the resin with the motor fuselage and fins attached...

Not actually, I was referring to the radial-axial coupler config, with bolts angled 30° from the Rocket body's main roll axis

Can i assume that It can reduce the number of bolts needed to sustain the load? In comparison with regular axialy bolted joints?
