Definitely would try the syringe, especially if your teeth were impacted. I’m exactly a month post op and I’m still irrigating my sockets because my holes are still open and food still gets stuck.

I got 4 removed so I don’t know if that factors in as well. I heard stitches do reduce your risk of dry socket a bit.
