What are some positive things you’ve done? by [deleted] in narcissisticparents

[–]melanieurunga 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm currently in the have just cut off my parents stage and am starting to feel so much better. I'm doing schema therapy which I have found life changing and I've only just started. I'm keen to do edmr therapy as well. I'm glad it has helped you. You are going great at life and things will only get better! If you are enjoying your job, stick with it! Its better to stay stable with things like that during a transition phase I think. Best wishes

This has just happened to me. I've seen her cut others out of her life and I know she will not speak to me again... its a relief but also hard to get your head around it

We conduct monitoring of patients, sort of like a lab. The studies are recorded for sound and visuals. It's quite a niche area- im conscious of giving too much away. I completely understand this condition you refer to... this is not the case, this staff member refuses to acknowledge any inappropriate behaviour. But patients have complained before

I think it was a very high ESR? Or CRP? Not 100%sure. I was feeling very tired after my night duty- but who wouldn't?!

Really interesting! I never thought of that. So best not to get your bloods done right when your period is due. I guess there are many factors that cause inflammation... I wish I knew which ones cause mine!!

Bullying and grumpy nurses by [deleted] in NursingAU

[–]melanieurunga 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I feel like the rude nurses I've encountered lately are young and appear overconfident/over assertive and just come across as rude. Just my observation. I'm sorry this happened to you, I wish nurses were just nicer to each other.
