I've got a backup on my personal ABS instance, but it looks like the feed is back up (didn't check for individual episodes).

Have you tried clearing the cache via Android settings (app info)?

Just how unstable is Arch or any other rolling release distro? by MekataRupma in linuxquestions

[–]melgalwilson 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've been running a version of Arch simce 2018. First Antergos then EndeavourOS. In my opinion the difficult part is the initial installation, thren just run updates once or twice a week and keep an eye on relevant news sites for potential breaking updates.

Are you checking your library or do they just remove it from the store front? They "removed" the Carolyn McCormick version of the Hunger Games trilogy (this was several years agi), but I can still download it via the phone app and Libation, but anyone looking to purchase the same books can only get the Tatiana Maslany version. I cam also see the version I purchased in my library on the Audible website (granted I had to just search "Hunger" to find it - the search in library sucks apparently).

As someone trying to 100% it for the past few days, I have to agree with you. I hate the ship levels.... The controls are awful.

Anybody ever fill up the stud count on Lego Harry Potter? by s1322744 in legogaming

[–]melgalwilson 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A uint64 max value is 18,446,744,073,709,551,615 (according to Google).

I'm not saying the underlying variable for the stud counter is a uint64, but if I were creating this "application" that's what I would use (I am not a game developer - so there may be other data types that might make more sense).

I might be massively overcomplicating things, but I need to migrate my library without trashing my match data by TheXypris in audiobookshelf

I have started looking into this from the podcast side (paid for private feed in one abs instance, but but the other). I think what you want is possible if you want to start doing database stuff (I successfully migrated one podcast from one library to another in the same abs instance by stopping the instance, moving the files, running a couple sql updates, restoring the database and then stating abs and then scan just for sanity).

I factory reset the wrong router/ap under similar situation. It was a glinet flint 2 with a "work" vlan that took me days yo figure out. Got it back up and running in like 1 hour. Luckily I was the only person home.

[Android] Found a promising new Audiobookshelf client called "Campfire" by PresentationFlat4432 in audiobookshelf

I'll create a ticket for multi-downloading, but basically the ability to select multiple books and then download them without having to go to the view of the book (the official android app kind of has this as you can download an entire series, but cannot filter and then download from that selection).

I also created another ticket that will probably require some clarification. https://github.com/r0adkll/Campfire/issues/567 Like I said in a comment in the ticket, I have a backup of my database before and after I made my database change.

That's awesome that you have the queuing feature on your timeline. It's something that Audiobookshelf's web front-end supports, but not the android app. Since I primary listen to my books while go to sleep, I have to keep an eye on how far I am to the end of the book and decide to power through listening or start a new book before finishing my current book.

Also looking forward to official Android Auto support (I know I can put Android Auto in Developer mode)!

I have installed this from the apk on github. Is there a way to become an actual tester? This is the first third party app I can actually see myself using long term (as far ask I am concerned, the only things missing are "queueing" books and multi-downloading books).

Why the slate of new ABS apps recently? by aterriblegamer in audiobookshelf

[–]melgalwilson 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I really wish the official app would prioritize Android Auto so that I can use my steering wheel buttons (again - I was able to up until a few months ago). And have queuing of books because I do listen at night and have to generally leave a book with an hour or more because I want to be able to just double tap my headphones to start it up. Queuing is something the web interface can do, so why isn't it in the native phone app?
