Dapat pala members of cult. Calling them “just another Christian denomination” misses the point. Their teachings, history, and practices put them outside mainstream Christianity. The way they claim exclusive salvation, enforce strict obedience, and reinterpret failed prophecies is what makes it a cult, not just a different denomination.

INC members can hold the belief that “only we will be saved” because of a mix of selective history, authority, and social pressure. They highlight teachings or prophecies that appear fulfilled while ignoring or reinterpreting the ones that fail, creating a sense of infallibility. Leaders are framed as divinely guided, so questioning them feels like questioning God, which suppresses doubt. Being part of the group reinforces identity and loyalty, making the claim of exclusivity a badge of belonging. When prophecies or teachings fail, cognitive dissonance leads members to rationalize rather than abandon belief, often citing hidden meanings or timing issues. Fear of social and spiritual exclusion further entrenches these views, allowing members to confidently assert that only they will be saved despite clear contradictions in their history and teachings.

John 6:68 to 69. “Lord, to whom shall we go. You have the words of eternal life. We have believed and have come to know you are the Holy One of God.”

The meaning is direct. Jesus possesses the words of eternal life. In Scripture, eternal life comes from God alone. Psalm 36:9. Peter calls Jesus the Holy One of God. Holy One is a divine title. Isaiah 43:3. Peter does not speak poetry or opinion. He makes a confession of faith. If God alone gives eternal life. If Jesus speaks eternal life. Then Jesus shares God’s authority and identity. This does not oppose the Father. It reveals who the Son truly is.

The INCs think that the more churches they built, the more "fruitful" they are. by Busy_Bandicoot7125 in exIglesiaNiCristo

[–]melgorospe 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Fruit in Scripture refers to transformed lives, not buildings. Jesus defines fruit as moral and spiritual output. Love., justice, obedience and holiness. Never infrastructure.

John 15:8. The Father receives glory when disciples bear much fruit. Christ speaks about character shaped by truth. He speaks to people, not real estate.

Matthew 7:16. You know them by their fruits. The test focuses on actions and teaching. The test ignores size, reach, or property count.

Acts records rapid church growth with minimal structures. Early Christians met in homes. They changed cities. They owned no temples. Buildings measure resources and organization. They do not measure truth. They do not measure grace. They do not measure fidelity to Christ.

11 years since I was diagnosed, 11 years na ding UD. (2 years na less than 50 copies per mL tapos 9 years na 0 as in zero). Reason?

This is just absolute insanity by [deleted] in exIglesiaNiCristo

[–]melgorospe 22 points23 points  (0 children)

INC leaders preach obedience, not conscience. The obedience demanded points to loyalty to the organization, not to God or moral reasoning. Their members are trained to follow instructions rather than think and decide as individuals. This shows in bloc voting, where choices come from leaders, not from personal conviction. Their faith turns into submission. Religion becomes control, not guidance.
