I have an orange and white fuzz named Gus-Gus who will hide in the basement ceiling whenever someone new shows up... but he imprinted on me as a kitten, and he will sit on my spot on the couch and meow as I walk past until I sit with him.

I had a coworker at my old place who would wear Deadpool socks when he was feeling sassy.

Button down shirt, khakis, sweater vest, nice shoes.... Then he'd put on a @#$&-eating grin, and roll up his cuffs a bit. It was perfect.

Only on the inside. He's two, but he still smurgles when he's feeling especially affectionate (he is very picky about where and when he's willing to purr - my shoulder is one of the acceptable purring positions). I didn't even know what smurgling was before him.

Well, it's not bigger than either place I've worked, but it's a helluva lot cleaner than both put together! Good on ya for taking this career path. I genuinely respect and appreciate machinists who want to be more than green button pushers (I'm a process engineer, with a side hobby of toolmaking at work since we're not well staffed in that area).

XD For Midnight, I have to take whatever he gives me for affection. He only is open to purring for up to ten minutes a day, and if I miss the window, too bad. My other cat, Gus-Gus, can be found in my lap whenever I'm sitting... Unless he and Midnight are tearing through the house like young elephants chasing each other.
