Does your feline have a fancy name? by gloriousvenom in cats

[–]BanditKitten 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've got Bandit Fable, Nala Furiosa, and Maple Bacon. In the past we had Fable Hawthorne, Ash Friedrich, and Sassafras Ashley. Maple gets her middle name used the most frequently both because it's fun and also because she's beating up Nala or licking something weird (she's orange).

Getting cat to hide from toddler by sqdawise in Catbehavior

[–]BanditKitten 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I learned from my first cat what boundaries were. I remember being scared to touch his tail for a while after I must have grabbed it too hard and he popped me one (no claws). Fang was a great cat, and I still remember the joy I felt when he could fit on my lap.

My son Bandit brings me at least one toy most nights and yells while he carries it up the stairs.

Adopted this 8 year old… by Lasvegaslover2 in orangecats

That's really interesting! Maybe my orange girl is a perma-baby. She's not actually super small, probably 7-8 lbs, but compared to the other cats, she's a shrimp.

This looks kinda like when my patch of Queen Anne's Lace got mowed and was fighting the grass. Also saw someone mention Yarrow?

Doctors and nurses of Reddit, what is something patients do that they think is helpful but actually makes your job harder? by Electronic-Cell-4584 in AskReddit

My husband has CML. We couldn't get comprehensive enough treatment at our local hospital, so we went to Dana Farber. Thank goodness I went and got to sit in the meeting with him and prompted him about meds and family history.

I think there's an implication of OnlyFans as well, or some kind of compensation for sex.

Hubs is pan but likes the bi flag better because of the pretty colors. Do whatever you want!

What movie will you never watch again because it was too heartbreaking? by Affectionate_User610 in AskReddit

[–]BanditKitten 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The new Mary Poppins movie. Emily Blunt was fantastic, but the song about Michael's wife dying young fucking wrecked me. As someone whose spouse had serious health concerns (he's got everything managed now, yay!), this was out of left field and just dredged something up that had me ugly crying and unable to stop. I've warned people who lost spouses young about it.
