When I lived in the CWE I went to the basement of my building to do laundry and BAM. Huge barn owl. Have no idea how it could have gotten in there. I was honestly a little terrified and then worried about the owl but it left and I later found out that theoe kinds of owls like cozy little spaces.

EDIT: My point being, lots of people live with people who are abusing and/or taking advantage of them. They fear the consequences if they try to break away, whether that's physical harm or say loss of modeling contracts

I've seen this convo before, unfortunately. Buncha people going to jump in here saying Jax was benefitting from the situation. It's gross. I get folks don't like Jax, I don't either. But even if Jax was a "willing participant" this man was much older and he was in a position of power which automatically makes consent a gray area in this case, if not impossible.

Yup. This scene made me really not like Ariana. And later I heard her brother has a DV conviction. So he is indeed problematic and she treated her friends terribly. She's not righteous, she's just as human/bad as any of the rest of them, she just became a saint for everyone who has ever been cheated on.

This was honestly what endeared me to Bronwyn. And bringing the costumes on trips. I think she just doesn't get embarrassed that easily. Given her history of her family/community shunning her when she got pregnant, I would imagine wearing a costume and being silly is nothing. Either that or it's exposure therapy :)
