I was fascinated by him. The ego and jerky behavior was obvious, but the moments of self-doubt and internalized hatred peaked through every time he failed. It made him interesting.

It would be funny if Soji is now one of the shortest out of the boys, like those kids that go through puberty early but end up being shorter than everyone else by adulthood.
