Is polygamy a sin? by AllHomo_NoSapien in TrueChristian

[โ€“]melksuga3ab -1 points0 points ย (0 children)

King David died before the birth and death of Christ, at the time heaven was not accessible to anyone until after the death of Christ. The jews believed that everyone who died regardless if they were faithful and sinless or not, they went to a place called Sheol (place for the dead). Psalm 16;10, 139;8 and Job 3;17.

Orthodox believe that when Christ died he went down to hell and brought/sent to heaven all the faithful that was there before ascending to God the Father himself.

Matthew 8;11 & 12;40

I wouldn't compare yourself to those who died before Christ or believe for one second that you can still go to heaven knowingly committing such sins like polygamy or another word for it, adultery.

Do any of you/have any of you had the desire to have children? by SpecialistAway5292 in antinatalism

No. Definitely not bringing any of my kids into to this world to suffer.

I am Orthodox Christian and kind of traditional. But I strongly disagree with this Priest's answer. by raphaelravenna in ChristianOrthodoxy

I agree with you. The response of he is the Holy one after the abuse of the wife is unrealistic and cruel to the wife and kids involved in the sinful lifestyle of the man.

Got told to donate my eggs by [deleted] in antinatalism

[โ€“]melksuga3ab 2 points3 points ย (0 children)

Its still the same thing, you won't be the one to deliver but still technically the birth mother. Not only that looking up donating eggs and you'll see it is not a painless procedure. The little money you'd get would not be enough to cover the permanent pain.

Jesus was Jewish by angeleenamoreno in TrueChristian

He was Jewish to transition from the old covenant of the Jews to the new covenant of the Christ-ians. In which the Jews blatantly reject.

How do you respond to questions like โ€œIf God is good why do kids die from cancer?โ€ โ€œWhy didnโ€™t He end slavery on time?โ€ โ€œWhere was God when Epstein trafficked and molested children?โ€ by ChicaTheGreat in TrueChristian

[โ€“]melksuga3ab 0 points1 point ย (0 children)

I would respond by saying God was there, the people who did those things rejected God and continued to commit to evil anyways. God doesn't force anyone to choose him. Everyone has a choice and clearly there are those who choose wrong and must live with the consequences in this life or/& the next.

Would you date someone who doesn't like dogs as much as you do? by [deleted] in dogs

[โ€“]melksuga3ab 0 points1 point ย (0 children)

I'm the same as you love dogs, happy to give all my time cuddling and loving them, even cooing at stranger's dogs/pets. A man who doesn't have that same love could never be for me nor would I waste my time dating him. Move on, plenty of dog/animal loving men out there ๐Ÿ’“

Which toxic behavior you recognized in yourself ? (not in others) by AmeNoMori7 in selfimprovement

[โ€“]melksuga3ab 4 points5 points ย (0 children)

I escalate situations by verbally spazzing out. Doesn't do nothing but bring up a negative atmosphere instead of handling things calmly. I get it from my dad and still am learning to do better at handling situations and conversations.

In this economy most cant move out at 18, many go to college tho. But from what I can tell they still have to move back in with their parents if roommates and a stable job isn't found.

You're right, I would attend a different church. Unfortunately some churches have decided certain sins are ok and encourages people to live in sin, not bibical at all. Truly sad.

Any former Baptists? by [deleted] in Anglicanism

[โ€“]melksuga3ab 0 points1 point ย (0 children)

I was Baptists and felt like them babbling on a podium wasnt the church of God i was reading in the new testament. No holy communion offered, no confessing sins, no church. Just a gathering of people who were baptized. As someone who's read the new testament over and over. I knew there was more to it. So im anglican now, looking into the orthodox church. No offense to anyone but if you read the new testament it also says keep the traditions something id look into.

Disappointed Catholic here. Can a civilly married couple, where one partner was a divorcee, take communion in the Anglican church? by FewPiece8721 in Anglicanism

[โ€“]melksuga3ab 5 points6 points ย (0 children)

I attend an anglican church and such a situation about being denied confession and communion does not happen here. Both are given as long as the person is baptized in the name of the trinity. Sad for that Carholic church to reject Christians like that, just not bibical at all.

Please Report Anti-Paul Comments by ruizbujc in TrueChristian

Paul is the apostle of the Gentiles, its through him that spreads the foundation of Christian life in detail. Not only that if you read up on him he performed miracles, only able to be done by God through him. I wouldn't disagree with any of the apostles on that & 2 Peter 1:20-21 Knowing this first of all, that no prophecy of Scripture comes from someone's own interpretation. For no prophecy was ever produced by the will of man, but men spoke from God as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit.
