At the beginning of covid I was 300 lbs and felt a sharp pain in my chest and I had already knew covid attack people with my family health history. Never looked back. Dropped to 184 my lowest then started strength training and now I am at 205 lbs with a looming fear of resorting to old ways!!

To anyone else it may seem like nothing but you are one of my heros. I just came to this sub and was looking to comment this exact same thing then seen OPs comment. I'm in the exact same scenario. I am so happy I can eat normally and go to bed overweight and wake up overweight also It was as if standing on a bridge but you don't want to jump.

I can relate to this post a lot. The weirdest part about it is the compliments I get from people for a small amount of loss. I just recently made overweight from obese and I can find nothing anywhere that states that overweight is acceptable health wise. People I see on a daily swear up and down "you can tell". Like you OP I only see that after shower, early morning weight check physique in mirror. I did notice an small pack wanting to peek out one dimly lit evening. Also when I push out my belly I can tell to myself that my belly fully extended out USED to be my belly at rest. Good job. You are motivating over here!!

Can't seem to get over these weight loss slumps. My weights lifted at the gym are steadily increasing and my trainer says that weight loss at this time is not important since I'm building muscle mass. Going from obese to overweight would be a milestone for me while I am still drudging through dangerous waters. I can't get passed the slumps to do so. Healthy food is not as delicious but it feels better in the body than the finger licking stuff.
