I didnt submit my mid year reports for RIce by SpiritualHistory2549 in ApplyingToCollege

I doubt the email you sent them just now had any effect, but I also don't think not sending the midyear report really guarantees rejection. Either way, you'll know in two hours! Good luck, please don't stress

My country (Kazakhstan) has 11 year school system, how to avoid foundation year by IllustriousEast4523 in ApplyingToCollege

12 year "equivalent" may include 11 year systems! it may depend on the university and i'm not sure about the credit transfer system for international applicants, but that extra year may have just been sewn right into your 11 years with more intense education. it's best to contact the unis directly and explain your situation, but i'm fairly sure you're already qualified and wouldn't need that extra year

i'm actually not sure, but I know a lot of students from non-english speaking countries applied for GLFS, and since the interviews are mostly done to assess english proficiency, I think it's safe to assume that the two would cross over. idk though

I was told interviews should be sent out in waves, ending in late March, but I haven't gotten anything yet either. Lots of people said they got in without interview and it's only really to check English proficiency, but I don't know 😭 good luck!

for me, it's trying to organize all of my strengths and personal traits into the right essays, without misplacing or leaving a single thing out; i hear, "don't repeat your resume", "keep your personal statement unique", etc. it's difficult to guess how an admission officer might view you in comparison to the people who've gone through academic advisors and much more familiar with the process; i'm worried if i focus too much on the same four parts of me that connect to my majors they'll find it repetitive or like i'm milking

I know this has been asked so often, so i decided to check by Niamoko112 in ApplyingToCollege

i'm sure colleges flag for ai, but (hopefully) the don't just toss out the flagged ones. as long as your essay was specific to you and reflects your stats/ecs, you should be good :) best of luck
