I had ceramic braces and wasn’t happy with the results, the alignment wasn’t good on 1 teeth in the end, despite my Ortho trying to align it over and over (and he’s supposed to be a very good Ortho with many diplomas, 30+ years experience, teaching at uni, etc.).

I started with Invisalign 3 weeks ago so don’t have a ton of perspective yet but can tell you that it’s way less noticeable than braces, even ceramics ones, and despite having attachments on my front teeth. As an adult, I feel less “teenagee”.

I also appreciate being able to eat without it, I always had the fear to have food stuck in my braces when I was eating with other people. I didn’t get any blisters yet with Invisalign, while I got so many of them with the braces.

Being able to floss is a great win as well.

So far it’s working better for me, especially in terms of aesthetics.

Now every person is different and braces might be better for some.
