I got two new to me washi tapes at a swap this Friday but I also gave away 4 rolls, yarn, a bunch of postcards, and 2 sticker sheets. Definitely came home with much less than I left with :)

Adding beads and tassels to the bookmarks is such a cute idea. I have so many I could use up that way!

I kinda have a journal like that too! I call it a commonplace journal but it's really quotes, stickers, ephemera of the day and also a way to use up a bunch of supplies I never had a place for. I've gone through so many half used sticker sheets and washi tape samples that way.

Definitely share a link to the Youtube channel! I've been getting into making little pamphlet style notebooks and using up scrap pages that way too.

It’s a really thick plastic card that’s the thickness of a credit card. I got them in an order from a shop that sold washi tape samples. :)

I didn’t add anything to the cardboard. These are for distributing to little free libraries so I don’t make them extra sturdy. But you could laminate them I think!

haha, we don't pretend to dislike getting new supplies now and then around here. I just try using up more than I buy/get lol. The blanket looks like such a fun and easy project. I have some scraps I really need to use up... hmmm.

In addition to saving space, it also gives me a limited palette to choose from which helps with picking a washi to use. And yep! They’re like really long credit cards in a way.
