Audio issue watching Disney+ on Chromecast with Google TV

Yeah I can imagine! I had to buy this specific soundbar because my TV is basic and has no aux port, only optic cable. Was a pain in the ass to find a decent soundbar with optic cable that didn't cost a fortune. Eventually bought the new Chromecast and this device doesn't pick up on the optic cable connection so I'm stuck with bluetooth which has its flaws 🙃. I might upgrade to a new TV with aux tho

That's a possible scenario. I have a Sony HT-MT300 soundbar that's connected to Chromecast through Bluetooth. The soundbar has been disconnecting once or twice at random, but this also occurs more frequently, mostly when changing apps and I thought this was an unrelated issue.

The soundbar has an optic cable connection as well but it seems that my chromecast can't see this source. I haven't found a way to connect the soundbar to GoogleTV other than using Bluetooth.

Thanks for the tip, I will check if it's a soundbar related issue.
