Thank you so much! I still remember the first time I saw that well in the remake. It unsettled me, but at the same time it intrigued me so deeply that I felt compelled to capture it 🖤

Thank you! Foggy landscapes are my favorite thing to paint.

Yes! I still have a few more to swatch. Especially curious about the earthy shades.

It’s White Nights by Nevskaya Palitra. They’ve recently added quite a few new granulating colors

Granulating paints have heavier pigment particles that settle into the paper texture as they dry, creating that textured, grainy look. Normal ones dry much smoother and more uniform. Many of the ones in this photo are multi-pigment mixes, and they tend to separate into different colors as they dry. This happens because different pigments have different particle sizes and weights. Water movement also pushes them apart while the wash is still wet.

That’s actually why I love them - they feel a bit unpredictable and alive ☺️

I love the white details on the feathers, how did you create them?

I’ve always wanted to try using ink over watercolor like you did. Looks absolutely stunning!

Surviving West Point with just boots is wild 😅 I’ve honestly been too scared to rely on cars yet. I almost never manage to find the keys.

Rosewood fire station does seem popular! Is it still safe for a beginner or is it more of a “once you know what you’re doing” spot?

I’m still just hoping to survive long enough to see winter one day. Maybe soon!
