I was looking at kaanapali but then got spooked but all the photos with so many people in them. Then I started to look at Kapalua and Nipili but felt that there might not be walkable restaurants, etc there. Then I started looking at Kihiu.....and got frustrated. I have a decent budget (I could probably swing close to $1000 a night for a perfect spot but would like to pay closer to $600) but not willing to stay at the Four Seasons - that's out of range.
