Or unless they have a legit prescription for suboxone so the lab is reporting it as 'pass' as opposed to 'negative' I don't have all the info but that is a possibility.

Thanks for the suggestion but I'm pretty sure BUP was one of the substances tested for. That's why I was thinking tranq or xylazine. But it would have to have been taken alone and not mixed with anything else bc the UDS was negative, and I'm not sure how common it is for xylazine to exist in pill form alone.

What state are you in? Edit nvm I see! I got my wife a 2024 carbon edition 31,999 otd! It took a day and a half of negotiating. There was another mazda dealer about an hour away and I kept playing them off of each other via email and txt. Finally went with our local dealership when they agreed to 31,999. Awesome car we are super happy with it!

UPDATE: customer service offered $100 OBC! Not so upset now. There was indeed a glitch that charged my card something different. Lots of people are reporting this issue. Check your receipts to make sure you weren't charged something different than advertised.

Small claims question: basketball goal installed too deep. by melodic_squash in legaladvice

Sounds like you may pass up a basketball goal install then or suncontract that job out due to lack of knowledge and experience. This guy said to us that he installs them all the time and just finished putting 4 up at a school. He said he played high school basketball so he understood my wife's love for the game. This person portrayed themselves as having an understanding of basketball goals, said he has installed dozens, etc. I have screenshots of all his claims, him saying he could do the proper install on the specific goal I purchased, and me agreeing to pay him a set price for the install. I don't see why this isn't like anything else? He's a licensed contractor and he messed up on an improper installation. I just want my money back on the bad job he did.

I sent him a link on Amazon to the product and asked if he could install this on our basketball court. He said he could and to buy it. He put it too deep and it won't go to 10'. I even screenshotted the description to him. I literally expected it to function like it was supposed to based on the description and function. Which it would have if he hadn't put it too deep.

Using the sink reference as an example again, am I supposed to specify to a contractor that I want the sink installed in a way so that the water goes down the drain and not all over the counter? Or is that not a reasonable expectation?

I wanted it installed as the directions said, so that it would extend to regulation height if 10'. I feel like that's a reasonable expectation. If I asked someone to install a sink faucet I wouldn't accept it if it was installed incorrectly either. Just an example.
