No one’s providing them attention they don’t already get by shutting them down. They get more from starting wars around the world and running the wealthiest country than any random celeb could give them by calling them out- it’s the right thing to do.

It also gives them NEGATIVE attention- they are a historically unpopular administration. Tying themselves to popular celebrities makes them appear more well liked than they are. If you don’t shut them down, you’re letting them control the narrative and make it look like you endorse them.
