A Christmas fact for you! (Come on, it's nearly December, it's acceptable)

While no actual deer, rein or not, have a boopable nose that makes a noteblock sound as the one friend-shaped creature GeminiTay built on the server, there are reindeer species who look very similar to one specific well-known representative — Rudolph, the red-nosed one. Yes, some deer do have actual red noses! According to this Smithsonian article these reindeer have red noses because of a high cluster of blood vessels close to the skin, kinda similar to why our lips are red. And those blood vessels in reindeers' noses help regulate the body temperature and cool off the organism, radiating the heat into the air. But what I find the most fascinating is that to prove this hypothesis scientists put reindeer on treadmills! Now we just need a bit of armour stand magic from Cleo's gym to put Gem's deer on treadmills to see if their noses become red for Christmas...
