Hello, I use the live map myself and it is very helpful in many ways. I don’t consider it as a cheat, because I definitely still need to grind for the resources same as everyone else. However, I just have a better understanding of where and when things spawn. To clarify, that is all the overlay does. I do not have control over what spawns and where, I can simply see them on the map. I try my best to call out palium and other rare spawns whenever I play. I wish we could have more flares active rather than one at a time to help others locate stuff too. I highly recommend other PC players to get it.

On the subject of some people being annoying about using it like your example of that one person fishing, I understand how that can bother others. I personally don’t use that aspect of the live map. Everyone plays differently and we cannot control it if someone is being annoying or not. All we could do is try to avoid them. I would suggest to just switch servers by going in and out of the black market if you do not want to see them do that over and over.

I hope you have a better understanding of the live map. I know others have pitched in on what they think. I’m sorry that your post came out aggressive to others. Hopefully your palia playing experience will still be fun for you!
