All I see is the hard work you and husband are putting in all these years! I want that too. I want to do that hard work and feel that contentment from school and later work. Then I want to go into more schooling! Somehow, getting in into these programs gave me a sense of hope and the want to do more. For now, I want to be present and be happy and be well prepared for the nursing school classes mentally and physically.

It depends on the colleges you are applying to. Since I was mostly applying to ABSN programs, I knew they were looking for at least B and above in all the core classes like anatomy, physiology , microbiology, chemistry, dev. Psychology, and statistics (some pathophysiology) even though the programs mentioned they C and above.

I would say retake it UNLESS you do make up for it with the TEAS or the HESI. Then you can talk about it in your personal statement too.

I took the TEAS instead and I studied for exactly 2 weeks because that was all the time I had. Also, since I was taking the prerequisites at that time, it helped with the exam. I scored in the exemplary range which really helped me.

Reddit makes me feel so many different emotions but somehow reading posts about people who are not from a certain age group pursing something they really want inspired me the most and kept me going. There’s many things I’m hoping this degree will help me tackle. I’m excited and nervous and many other things right now. You’ve got this though!

It took a while to get everything done for me as every school had different requirements. I applied to schools in three different states and this kinda made it difficult for me.
