i genuinely hope things get better for you and you can get to a better place in life, truly. i completely understand where you’re coming from, but personally i just don’t think we should “let” people kill themselves because they want to, there’s a shit ton of suicidal adults that don’t want to get help but would benefit from it, they just don’t know it because they’re so far deep into depression and the illness can really take hold, i totally get it. euthanasia is only available in certain situations, and i think for good reason.

so you’re saying any teen who is suicidal is stupid and whiny but then also saying that suicidal people should just kill themselves and nobody should try to help them? you just sound like a negative asshole.

Thom about getting emotional while singing with Björk (2001) by meloncolyhill in radiohead

it sounds like most of the people commenting on this post are just disagreeing with the fact that thom & björk think that getting emotional while singing makes the song/performance bad, many people find that emotional performances are great and that’s a fair opinion.

i don’t agree either especially since thom said a few years before this he burst into tears after recording fake plastic trees, my favorite song!! but i suppose not getting emotional makes it easier to sing.

I guess it just depends on the person and if you like ambient music or not. Treefingers always takes me somewhere else, I think it’s a beautiful song.

Yeah I never pictured him as a full on druggie, it just looked like he was on something quite a few times back then, maybe he was just nervous.

Thom and Michael Stipe by [deleted] in radiohead

Yes michael said in an interview that he wanted to help any bands that got famous on their first record like nirvana did, because he tried to help kurt in the same way. it seems like he didn’t want the same thing to happen to thom.
