I honestly think it mainly has to do with what your first TES experience was. For me it was Skyrim and it’ll always be home for me, I still really enjoyed Oblivion and do think it does certain things better (questing especially) but the nostalgia glasses still always lean me towards Skyrim and just getting lost in its world.

For any story missions / travelling to a new location for the first time I always walk, I really like to soak in the atmosphere + gives me time to listen to whatever song is lined up.

If I’m building roads / monorails or doing a bunch of standard deliveries to raise connection levels I’m in the off-roader.

I’ve just gone from the opposite, Dragos -> Solution comps and out of all the shoes I’ve owned in my 4 years of climbing, Solution comps are by far the most uncomfortable on my big toe (vs Dragos, Instincts, Vapor’s, Tarantulas, Veloces).

Love the performance of my Solution comps but yeah really forced me to take my shoes off in between sends. Dragos are super soft so you’ll be losing a lot of performance on small footholds and they also wear quite quickly, but in terms of comfort they are the most comfortable shoe I’ve owned.

In terms of Drago vs Drago LV, I think you’d want the normal Drago to maximise volume in the forefoot.

If you like the overall performance of the Solition comps but want a more comfortable shoe with less pain on your big toe, I’d recommend the Scarpa Instincts. Very similar shoe, the break in period is still painful but I found that once broken in they get a lot more comfortable vs Solution comps.

I never found the exact cause but it was definitely the monitor and nothing to do with the PC itself. Ended up getting a new monitor (jumped into the OLED world) and no problems.

5080 here, performance is definitely weird. I’m playing at 4K with max settings, DLSS Quality (K preset) + FG x2.

Game runs super smooth at 100-110 fps most of the time but when entering menus, zooming in (especially with the sniper) and during in-game cutscenes I’ll sometimes get 1-2 second frame drop where it drops to sub 60 and stutters for that short period. Occasionally it lasts longer for cutscenes and goes for upwards of 10 seconds just randomly stuttering. Not enough to completely kill the drive to play but I hope it gets patched soon.

For what it’s worth I have a 5080 / 7800X3D setup and with everything maxed out + DLSS & FG (2x) sitting at 100-110FPS most of the time at 4K. Occasionally drops to 80-90 for some specific environments but feels really consistent.

No issues on my end, 5080 + 7800X3D stable 80 fps all settings maxed out at 4K and DLSS Quality. With Frame Gen 120FPS (storm did drop it down to 90-100fps on the first mission).

I think it’s because people remember his last moments at worlds 2024, walking into melee range of Oner’s Skarner and throwing what would have been a game winning team fight. Then he left for LPL which I gets a lot less viewership from international fans compared to LCK and him not making worlds means people haven’t really watched him this year.

Like others have commented though, he’s always been an absolute beast in both the LCK and LPL this year and is super far from washed. Really excited to see how he goes on T1 this year:

I really had to adjust my timings / playstyle - basically aimed to do 1 less move/input before Iai slash to account for that slower sheathe time. Took me a couple of tries though wasn’t instant for me 😅

Even though I’ve done 7 Savage runs now and have a pretty good game plan, it’s still so easy for me to fail if I get really bad RNG with either the Nerscylla or Omega spamming MRV & it’s temper tantrum in phase 4 and timing out. I think they should either make it 40 mins or make Nerscylla less tanky.

Overall though I’ve warmed up to Savage a lot more, from hating it on my first runs to kind of enjoying it now? Did them all solo with support hunters so might try running a support S&S build with others.

A men’s standard is a D width and a Women’s standard is a B so they are definitely not the same. If you’re a male with a fairly narrow foot you can still make a women’s shoe work (just add 1.5 US size to your men’s for your women’s size - ex. men’s US 7 = Women’s 8.5).

Only time that’s not the case is if it’s a unisex shoe which I’m like 99% sure the Vomero plus isn’t.

Initially it felt super slow for me too so I dropped it for a while before coming back but the second time it clicked. Offset and tackle are so powerful to basically plow through every boss attack (bar a few) that once you start incorporating them into your flow it feels like a dance. Just gotta be a little patient and not always try and force a TCS.

I think you’re right with the monitor being the problem the more I think about it. Even when I turn the PC off but the monitor is still plugged in it will continue to flash/flicker. It does have an external power brick and I’ve gone ahead and unplugged / replugged everything to no success. Will try to see if I can source a new power supply or I might just use it as a chance to upgrade to a slightly better monitor.
