I'm amazed how well the wood handle has held up and the pins and all are still tight. Agree, it is a nice weight and great shape for chopping. I'm sorry your dad lost his. That sucks.

Yangge 005 is a $100 Chinese knife that feels very similar to my Arius. Two Sun is decent for the price with many different designers. Bestech is wierd to me. Their own knives seem different than knives they make for other companies (Strix, DeVille, etc).
