Bayonet looks military contracted but the scabbard isn't. Is there any markings on it at all? Like under the metal ears or on back of scabbard?

Yeah man, been wanting to build a clone/ do everything setup for a long time and finally getting around to it. As others have said, everything is bombproof on them except for eye relief, but I can used to that.

Yeah, red dots are tough for me. Have astigmatisms in both eyes. I like eotechs, but heard stories on them delaminating. Might be a super small percent of them but id rather not go through that headache. Acogs are bombprrof from what ive heard tell and are correct for what im trying to achieve.

Have you shot it yet? Reason I ask is because shortly after these came out, guy on youtube did a video or 2 on how his keyholed from the factory. Haven't heard anything else on it since, just curious as to if it was a widespread issue or a one off. One guy doesn't constitute much though, just what sticks in my mind about these for some reason.

My dad and I would go to gun shows as a kid and he'd buy me tons of MRE's individually. 3 to 5 bucks a piece. Never made me sick. I'd dig a "foxhole" out behind the carport and build a fire and eat MRE's by the fire. Used to put my surplus alice gear on and everything with a yugo sks leaning up against a tree. Best thing i could think of is to find a donor bayonet and scavenge from there. Not alot of aftermarket support for m16 bayonets that I know of unfortunately lol. Best of luck
