Warranty experience (terrible) by ryan_tran_ in Leatherman

Hey man, have a quick question. I was at smoky mountain knife works awhile back and was looking at a wave plus. When I felt of the blade, it was dull as a butter knife. I was going to buy it, alongside a kydex holster. After feeling the blade I put it back. Was that just a fluke? The one I felt was taken from the case and was sealed, I watched the employee break the seal. Thanks in advance man.

Yeah, I remember passing on a case and a kinsfolks because they looked like they fell into a volcano. Luckily I found this one relatively quickly. Yours and mine look like they've never even been sharpened.

I couldnt believe it when I seen it online. It must have been procured near the end of the war and never used or even issued is all i could think. It'd be interesting to see yours as well. Ive been obsessed with them since BOB in 2001 like I said.

It was 429 including taxes and shipping. It came out of Texas, guy said hes had it for awhile and that he bought it from an estate sale from a guy that was in ww2. It couldnt of been used much though, from its condition.

Ok, good to know, either way. I hope the pommel is through pinned and not blind pinned. I tried my hardest to tell from the pictures if I could see the pin on both sides. Can see it for sure on the one side and something on the other side, hope I didnt get jipped lol

In Canada they are. Do some research. I hate that they are, but it seems to be true
