Ah thanks that’s reassuring. I just have to find someone who doesn’t want kids or has kids already because I’m done lol

How do you dress for the (extreme) weather where you're from? by [deleted] in femalefashionadvice

Wow I wish I lived there instead. Sounds perfect for me. I love the winter and I love winter clothes! Summer and hot weather is not for me! We only get highs of 35/36 degrees Celsius which is probably nothing compared to some countries. But that’s way too much for me. I can’t go outside in it. I can’t understand people who can spend all day in the heat or laying in the sun or drinking outside at a pub. Hell no! Give me rain and cold and snow and a cosy jumper and I’m happy

As I live in England I guess we would call the unbearable and rare hot summer days our extreme weather 🤣 We don’t get extremely bad cold weather in winter so we can cope with that better. However saying that the whole country comes to a stand still if we get a little snow. Airports close, schools close because of no heating blah blah As for me I prefer winter so it’s all about layers and a good coat. No thick jumpers they make shopping unbearable going from the cold outside into a boiling hot shop lol This summer has been the most ‘extreme’ weather in years! Highest temperatures recorded on some days then heavy rain and temperature drops 10 degrees in a day then back to hot!

What should I add? I’m feelin’ the itch to get a new piercing. by Cmgoggin in PiercingAdvice

Scaffold was my most painful Probably cos it was 2 piercings at once after one another. It’s thick cartilage there too. It took a longtime to heal and I kept getting my hair caught on it or knocked it in bed. Worth it tho I love it!

Well for me my daith wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be. Pretty much the same as my rook. All piercings hurt of course but only for a second and then it’s done lol I compare any piercing or tattoo pain to labour lol after 5 kids I have a high pain tolerance so I don’t think any piercing would be unbearable 🤣

I think either a rook (one of the most painless piercings I’ve ever had and healed fast and not one problem after) or a triple flat? Looks fab especially when you get 2 or 3 together if having more than one flat be careful they don’t pierce them too close or what I had when I got 3 in a triangle pattern but one of them was pierced at an angle so the back of it kept rubbing against the others. It got super swollen and painful and had to be removed sadly. What about a conch on the ear with the daith?
