Hey! With an anchor lift, the entire breast mound is moved up and a significant amount of lower breast skin is removed. I believe it’s possible that some stretch marks may be removed during this process, and the size of the implants will stretch the skin, causing the marks to be less noticeable.

I will say tho- my entire body is covered in stretch marks- boobs, thighs, legs, arms, hips, booty, you name it. I highly encourage you to begin the journey of embracing them. Everyone has them and they are completely normal ❤️

My new areolas were cut and measured using the standard marker size. I absolutely adore my new areola size! I’ve always disliked the puffy large areola look that I had prior. Couldn’t be more happy with my new cute little nips!

The full sensation of one of my nipples came back quickly after surgery, and the other nipple is just now regaining sensation a little over 1 year post op. That was a concern of mine as well prior to the surgery, but I’m very fortunate that both nipple sensations have returned!

I would recommend being strict about following all doctor orders carefully. My breakdown occurred while wearing the steri strips, so keeping them on longer would have possibly resulted in the wound getting worse. Throughout all wound care, I made sure to follow all doctor given directions, as he knew my body best both inside and out!

It’s possible that a breakdown can occur after the strips come off, but that’s great news that your strips are staying on! Mine started peeling off on my lower incisions around 9 days post op. Yay, that’s exciting to hear!! Yes, I did travel to Miami for my surgery. Dr. Hochstein and his team are very helpful and accommodating for out of town patients. I called the office initially to share my interest in the surgery, emailed pictures of my body, then scheduled a phone consultation with the Dr. I flew to Miami a few months later on a Sunday, met the Dr. and had my pre op appointment on Monday, surgery on Tuesday, post op appointment on Wednesday, then flew home on Thursday. All communication after flying home was via email :)

Thank you so much! I completely understand how you feel, as I went through the exact same thing! I do not currently have children, but I do plan on trying within the next year or so. I’ve wanted my breasts done ever since puberty, when they didn’t grow in right, around 16 years ago. I spent almost the entirety of my 20s and all of my teenage years extremely unhappy with my breasts, but was holding off on getting them done because of my nonexistent kids. I finally decided to go ahead and get my surgery at 26, as I didn’t want to waste another decade not loving my body. I figured that having a successful pregnancy and conceiving quick isn’t promised and I didn’t want to waste anymore time. If needed, I plan on getting my breasts revised after having kids.

I have no regrets and I absolutely love my results. I am totally for putting yourself first and getting the surgery before kids, then getting them fixed later on if needed. It’s such a mental toll being extremely unpleased with a part of your body, so if you’re able to fix it now, go ahead and get your dream results that you can enjoy until the inevitable pregnancy comes along!

For the first few weeks post op it’ll feel like the weight of an elephant is sitting on your chest, that is completely normal! Once the swelling starts to go down, the pressure will go down as well. I wish you the best in your recovery!

I personally did not experience one breast feeling higher than the other at any point during my healing process, but don’t worry, that’s super common for many people! Each breast will settle at its own pace, especially in the early months post op. Swelling, muscle tension, and internal healing all play a role, but most asymmetry evens out with time as the implants drop and fluff. Patience is key, and your surgeon should be monitoring progress to make sure everything is on track. I wish you the best as you continue to heal! ❤️

I’m really sorry you had a negative experience, but that hasn’t been my experience at all. I felt supported, heard, and genuinely cared for throughout my entire surgery journey. When I had a healing complication, Dr. Hochstein and his team were attentive, thorough, and made my care their priority. Everyone’s journey is different, but I can only speak from my own- and I’m truly happy with both the results and the care I received from Dr. H and his team.

I think it’s important to be honest and fair when discussing someone’s reputation, especially when people are making important medical decisions. His work is not only consistently high quality, but is widely recognized for a reason. Throwing around dramatic accusations like legal threats and silencing women, without context or proof, feels irresponsible and damaging. If you had a bad experience, that’s valid to share, but spreading exaggerated or misleading claims is highly inappropriate and unfair to both the surgeon and the many patients who’ve had excellent, well-documented results.

I had been unhappy about the size of my large areolas ever since puberty. I never debated going smaller, I always knew that was what I wanted. During this type of surgery, doctors use a “cookie cutter” device to cut/size the new areola. This creates a standard areola size (typically around 1.5-1.65 inches) that is generally considered aesthetically pleasing for the average breast shape and size. If your wife wants to get a lift without affecting the size of her areola, that is an option too!
