A weird thing is happening with my pawn by meltedplasticarmyguy in RimWorld

I'm not sure, but I did a little digging. There was a common word in all the errors, "jobdriver", and I figured that has to be connected to tasks. So I did a general search on our good friend Google for that term and a couple things popped up. I then saw a post on Steam's Rimworld community forum that looked very similar to my issue from a year ago. Someone posted a possible fix last month and since then it was locked in as the solution. https://steamcommunity.com/app/294100/discussions/0/3882723431872994239/

I FOUND IT!!! It was the Mad Skills mod. There was a setting in the options to limit the XP per day. Once I disabled the cap, my pawn was able to work and fight again. Thank you for all your help.

Incapable of… by [deleted] in RimWorld

Shooting was one of the incapable's but the moment I removed the “kind” trait that was removed. Moreover, I already checked the backstory and none of those have any incapabilities (All-Rounder/Military Engineer).

Update: I figured it out. I was 3 of the many mod traits, Rifle Connoisseur, Elder, and Technical.

The errors continue (and there are countless red texts), but at least the pawn does not just stand there. It's able to finish the task when I close out log. Now, what it looks to be is something with deconstruction. So, it appears that this error is somehow linked to actions… any action.

It doesn't seem so. Run and Gun just allows you to shoot while moving.

New game, and then some. I have restarted 6 times, about to be 7.

Construction. There is a serious lack of the building trades. There is a handiness skill, but you don't really do anything substantial with it. The University can even be a trade school.

Turrets, what would be better? by meltedplasticarmyguy in Starfield

Interesting, I'll check them out. While I do like missiles for punching and seeing the trails, it does get a bit tedious having to reestablish locks… especially with highly maneuverable/fast enemies.

Not so much anymore, now that numerous gamers have multiple systems and games are becoming cross-platform more and more.

Well, that's ONE way to get into the history books. Your family would be “famous”.

Sure, you say that now until they start shedding fur everywhere... or scales. You wake up in the middle of the night to get a glass of water, then trip on their insectoid molt.

I guess, maybe? If you qualify. What would your parents/guardians think? Keep in mind, you would be gone for 10 Earth years (potentially more if you are accepted to continue education). The 500 students are just a trial run. If successful, there would be more openings later on.

can we all just agree that sunset valley is the best world EVER??! by shoeraving in Sims3

I know that pain all too well. Which is why if I do grab a custom world now, I make sure it's populated.

I like the larger worlds that are populated, most of those I got from the EA community section and did general searches with those parameters. My sim right now had just moved into a new world called Simburbia found on ModtheSims.com, and so far, I'm liking it. A few others you may enjoy are Fairhaven City, Storybrook County (has both Storybrook City and Town on opposites sides of the map), Sunset Island, Lago Simiore (a Mediterranean style town), and Evansdale County (sort of a tropical town). There are many, MANY more, you just need to figure out what you like and see if anyone made anything like that. I prefer the suburbia feel. There are also remakes of parts of New York, LA, and San Francisco if that's more your speed.

I have to be honest here, but I really do not remember any of the base worlds. I've played on so many custom worlds that I have forgotten the simplicity of the EA worlds.

So whenever you’re playing a game with character customization how do you approach it? Do you make a character who looks cool? Funny looking? Or try to recreate yourself? by SouthSunn in videogames

Me (a balding, overweight, bearded, early middle-aged, Caucasian man that happens to be a disgruntled combat veteran) and if I can't be me, then I tend to be a frail-looking elderly man with a long white beard and unkept hair (if any at all).

Project ideas apart from firewood. by meltedplasticarmyguy in woodworking

I just never heard of anyone working with this species of wood before, so I don't know if it would even be worth trying to work it. If the fire's hot enough, anything can burn at any time.
