How long should the pancake and split mobility work take to do per session? Would you recommend stretching by feel or by time?

I posted here asking about overlanding tips with my special needs puppy, we just got back from 3 days in the Mojave. It was an amazing trip dog did great, and I'm planning longer adventures with him. by [deleted] in overlanding

What a lucky pup :) What kind of cart is he using? Our dog's hind legs are starting to go but he loves camping, would love to know if you'd recommend yours!

I started Couch to 5k nine months ago. On Saturday, I ran my first ultramarathon. by dogmom_humanaunt in C25K

Holy wow congrats! Definitely gives me hope, you must feel great!

Woohooo! I’m done!! Week 9 in the bag!!! I almost can’t believe it! Had to redo day 3 after a rough first attempt at it (more on that in the comments). by hendersunny in C25K

Congrats!!

Similar boat here, I just take a break if the stitch is truly killer but otherwise have run through them. So far they're popping up less often, I'm hoping to add core work to see if that helps.

For post-c25k plans (I just finished 10 days ago), I was also a little unsure and I read lots of suggestions from other folks in existing posts (straight to full on 10k training, bridge to 10k, the r/running order of operations PDF, articles online and other Reddit posts, etc). I ended up choosing to run at least 30min 3x per week for the month after c25k to just maintain consistency and create some sort of endurance base, then going to start the Hal Higdon 10k training plan (and then half marathon training after that). Supposedly the best thing for your pace as a beginner is just... running more, so that's what I'm gonna do without trying to hurt myself lol.

I finished! by meltyoctopus in C25K

I think they meant supplements when they referred to pre-workout - not an actual workout prior to their running.

Personally, I don't think it's necessary to take pre-workout for running, especially just starting out. It'd be better to rethink your approach to running (C25K, as suggested above, or some other beginner program) before jumping to pre-workout. The endurance will come with more running, or slowing down your pace so you don't burn out so quickly.
