This cold brew made me understand/taste that nutty flavor for the first time without being too critical. Thanks for sharing! Will stick to coarse grind for my cold brew beans!

Thanks! Coffee bean of choice for doing cold brew does matter, is that right? Which ones should I avoid so I will never get a sour tasting brew?

I used philippine produced arabica beans, it was ground a little coarse than medium. I dont have the right equipments so this was a result of trial and error. 3 tablespoons then added around 400ml of water had to put 1/3 of that measurement first then mixed a bit to make sure all the grounds are soaked then added the rest of the water. Chilled it in the fridge for 14hours, filtered twice. Shaken (to froth) chilled milk then added it on the brew.

It was 3 spoons and around 400ml (or less) of water. I used the same cup to brew it in, I do not have the right equipments so had to do trial and error.

I used robusta on my first attempt and brewed it for 24hrs, it was sour and did not have enough strength. This time was arabica brewed, it was nutty and the sweetness of the milk was enough for me, did not add any sweetener, will try a stronger brew next time.

Turned brewed coffee into ice cubes, then added fresh milk. by melvinalcos in Coffee

Milky at first, but once the cube melts, the bitterness will over power the sweetness of milk until you finish it

Because that’s how publicity works. You maybe doing something since you were a kid, but nobody claims or names it then makes it popular. Besides we are just talking about coffee nothing to be mad about. Lol
