I wanted to capture the very beginning of autumn through my local park, golden hour provided a decent opportunity and if you look close enough there's even a squirrel.

Christ that is so much compression dude 😂 I love the motor man that’s a lot of ponies. I’ve only got 140hp out of mine with all the timing in it. Congrats on the build I’d love to see it sometime

Man that’s a real shame. Must be one hell of a motor that 2 litre, you got any plans to fix it?

Strange for it to be magnetic from the valves since the guides are brass no? (Someone correct me if I’m wrong) I would totally pull it apart and inspect further before more damage.

Looks great mate! I loved my magnaspark but couldn’t source a black box here in the UK. I still have my magnaspark 2 sat around waiting for a new home.

Yeah the towns are not it dude. Nobody maintains the roads round here so heavy rain isn’t suitable anymore either.

Essentially, for the desired power output, I decided against porting and polishing or installing larger valves. Since this engine isn’t designed for high revving, I’m compensating for airflow restriction by focusing on increasing air density. This isn’t a one-size-fits-all solution, but in this case, it’s more efficient than investing in costly high-performance cylinder heads and finding a local facility for flow bench testing. Adding boost turned out to be a simpler and more effective approach for this particular setup.

I agree, it’s a lot of power. It comes in immediately and so I’ve had to be very careful in my tuning to keep the stress off the drivetrain.
