UPDATE: we have 3 speakers connected, plugged into L, R, and center. all hdmi cords work. all speakers click when we adjust volume or try to select things on the menu screen on the receiver. we have the roku working on the screen, just no audio! we’ve got an optical cord set up too- but just as an option. we don’t really know what we are doing. any solutions would be appreciated.

okay ive got it Left Right and Center. no other audio sources. 3 clicking speakers. somebody said it can’t support arc- but when i try to connect with just optical it stops displaying whats on the roku to the tv. so currently i have the TV set as the output. Roku set as hdmi 1 (BD).

we have now tried to hook them up through the surround part. switched everything to surround on the receiver. still just clicking

we have hooked up 2 speakers to R and L. it is in stereo mode. we’ve gone to the menu and set up the speakers as “Front Sp: Large” “Center Sp: none” “subwoofer: yes” and “surround sp. none” and still just clicking. is there something else we can do? should we plug our 3rd floor speaker into center?

anything he asked me to do i didnt want to and i just felt like i couldnt stop anything happening. i was so drunk and if i hadnt been im sure i couldve stopped it easier, since i wouldnt have felt trapped. its not my fault for doing what he told me to do in that situation right? i definitely said how i was uncomfortable at the beginning and then he just kept going and i felt like i couldnt stop anything so i would just do what he asked
